Oh Hello LP...

I realized while looking on this tiny blog and looking through my website (Jesseupton.com) that even though I wade wrist deep in the world of colour more than once a day, I've never been one to collect images of results. All of my photos from my website at the moment were inspired by the thought of one drinking one too many and cutting their own hair. Now, I wouldn't let my darling friends do that, so the compromise was that they drank beer and I cut their hair which created a weekly photo session in my living room. That said, when you're shooting everything on the spot, there is no time for colour. So kids, I've got three for you here. I promise to start documenting my work better.
Miss Jenny is one of my roommates. She has been bleaching his hair herself for a long time. I used platinium w/a on her roots with 30 volume. For being self done her hair is surprisingly even. To balance I used po2 + po1 as a pastel mix. With the front section I used p10 + po1 + a dash of 1 for the grey effect.
Next is me. I, as a stylist, have too much colour history to mention. Prior to my almost ginger, I was a 6.1 with three inches of level 7 roots and blond hilights. I colour removed the mid to ends, and applied a richesse 7.41 + 6.
Chris, well, it's been black for ever. No need to explain.
